Crossroads Beef is a family farm in Carroll, Iowa, with a heritage that spans over 130 years. For generations, they were dedicated to traditional row-crop farming. However, as the new generation stepped in, they envisioned a healthier, more sustainable way of farming. They decided to move away from chemical-heavy practices and focus entirely on raising grass-fed, grass-finished Red Angus cattle.
By 2025, Crossroads Beef completed their transformation into a fully sustainable cattle farm, using adaptive rotational grazing to keep their land and animals healthy. Their story is one of a family embracing change for the better, blending over a century of farming tradition with a new, environmentally-friendly vision.
